PlanMovies ("PlanMovies," "we," "us") is a group movie coordination platform. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using planmovies.com, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, mobile phone number, RSVP status, and the crew or event you join.
Verification data: we use a one-time passcode (sent by SMS) to confirm your phone number when you RSVP or create a crew.
Usage data: basic, non-identifying information about how the site is used, to keep it working and improve it.

How we use your information

To coordinate movie outings: confirm your RSVP, organize your crew, and share showtime and seat details.
To verify it's really you when you RSVP or manage a crew.
To send you messages you've consented to (see SMS below).
To operate, secure, and improve the service.

SMS / Text Messaging

If you opt in, PlanMovies may send you text messages. There are two separate, optional kinds of messages, and you choose which (if any) you want:

Service messages: automated event reminders, RSVP confirmations, and seat or ticket-status updates for your crew.
Marketing messages: occasional announcements about new movie events.

Message frequency varies based on your crews and events. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. We only text phone numbers that have explicitly opted in by checking a consent box.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies & tracking

PlanMovies uses only the minimal storage needed to run the site (for example, keeping you signed in to your crew during a session). We do not sell your data, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers. Your browser can block or clear cookies at any time; some features may not work without them.

How we share information

Within your crew: your name and RSVP status are visible to others in the same crew, so the group can coordinate. Your phone number and payment status are not shown to other members.
Service providers: we use trusted vendors to run the service (for example, hosting, our database, SMS delivery, and payment processing). They may only process data on our behalf.
We never sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile opt-in data with third parties for their marketing.
Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

Data retention

We keep your information while your account or crew is active and as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

Opt out of texts any time by replying STOP, or by asking us.
Request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your information by emailing us.

Children

PlanMovies is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
