These terms govern your use of PlanMovies (planmovies.com). By using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
PlanMovies is a tool for coordinating group movie outings: forming a crew, collecting RSVPs, and organizing who's going to which showtime. PlanMovies does not sell or resell movie tickets. You buy your own tickets directly from the theater or its authorized seller. We help your group plan and stay in sync.
To RSVP or create a crew, you verify your mobile number with a one-time passcode sent by SMS. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity on your account. Don't impersonate others or use someone else's number.
If you opt in, PlanMovies sends text messages of two separate, optional kinds: service messages (event reminders, RSVP confirmations, seat and ticket-status updates) and marketing messages (announcements about new movie events). Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for assistance. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. PlanMovies does not collect, hold, process, or transfer money, and is not a payment processor. When a crew shares costs, the organizer sets a payment link or method they control (for example their own Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal), and any money moves directly between members and that organizer. PlanMovies only displays that link and helps the crew keep track of who has paid; we are not a party to the transaction and never touch the funds. PlanMovies is not a ticket seller and does not guarantee seat availability.
Showtimes, prices, and availability are set by theaters and their ticketing providers, not by PlanMovies, and can change. Any ticket purchase is a transaction between you and that seller, subject to their terms.
PlanMovies is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a given showtime, seat, or crew plan will be available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlanMovies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for missed showtimes, sold-out tickets, or third-party actions.
We may update these terms. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
